An Intelligent Customized Electricity Controller for Domestic Purpose using Internet of Things. A smart, customized controller for regulating the usage of electricity in domestic is proposed in this project proposal. The proposed controller is expected to be a device will be directly connected to the main line of the electricity board to the home. The electrical and electronics components uses electricity will be connected to controller via proper interfaces. These interfaces are to be prepared as global IoT interfaces for major electrical devices such as electrical fan, electrical lights, kitchen electrical equipments, refrigerator etc. These IoT interfaces are to be designed to record, monitor, control and communicate the usage of electricity by the equipments. Once the IoT interfaces are installed on equipments, it will be connected to controller. Thereby, the controller is proposed to regulate the usage of the electricity in domestic. The IoT interfaces of the devices will have the facility to identify the need of the devices automatically, thereby it can control the devices based on the different needs from time to time. In case of the no use of such devices, the controller will stop the device automatically by receiving the stop request through their IoT interfaces.

Customization of Coffer Maker using a SMS.This invention brings a SMS based customization options to coffee maker in domestic. It makes the user to provide an instruction to Coffee Maker by SMS to prepare and keep the number of coffees ready for serve on particular time. The number of coffees and time at which it must be ready for serve can be intiated at any time by registered mobile number. The detailed status of the coffee preparation is also sent to the registered mobile number.
Classification of Satellite Images using Cellular AutomataThis investigation is proposed to design and develop a novel classification algorithm for satellite images using cellular automata. The cellular automata is introduced to address the high degree heterogeneity of classes that complicates the process of classification. Such classes, group the pixels with different characteristics and it creates uncertainty in grouping. The following issues of existing conventional classifiers are also addressed by the cellular automata. The parallelepiped algorithms left few pixels unclassified and classify the pixels to wrong classes. The minimum distance classifier is unsuccessful, when a degree of heterogeneity is increased. Therefore, the cellular automata based classification is used to improve the classification accuracy rate in satellite images by using contextual techniques rather than simply using spectral values. It also offers a hierarchical classification of pixels divided into levels of membership degree to each class and includes a spatial edge detection method of classes in the satellite image.
